CAPLAN: On Sunday, April 19, 2009, Thelma Suchman Caplan, beloved wife of the late Isadore Caplan; beloved mother of Aaron (Janet) Caplan of Union City, PA, Marty Caplan of Pittsburgh, Sanford (Deborah) Caplan of Gibsonia and Terrie (Clinton) Johnston of New Kensington; sister of Helen (the late Sam) Needleman of VA and the late Elsie (the late Al) Nusbaum; sister-in-law of Betty (the late Abe) Caplan and the late Mildred (the late Hyman) Bleckman; also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, especially the devoted Morry (Beverly) Frankel. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Charles M. Morris Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 200 JHF Dr., Pgh., PA 15217 or to Sivitz Jewish Hospice, 200 JHF Dr., Pgh., PA 15217.
