OSGOOD: On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, Steven; Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Osgood and former spouse of the late Estelle Richest Zangwill. Beloved father of Linda O. (Frederick) Johnston of Hollywood, CA and the late Robert A. Osgood. Father-in-law of Christine Osgood of Phoenix, AZ. Brother of Molly (late Jack R.) Gutkind of Squirrel Hill. Grandfather of Eric (Tara) Johnston, Keith Johnston, Hallie Osgood (AJ) Lizotte and Garrett Osgood. Uncle of Lee, Michael and Richard Gutkind. Steve served in World War II and won a Bronze Star for valor at the Battle of the Bulge. He began his long career in advertising and public relations at U.S. Steel Corporation. He then founded his own companies, starting with Steve Osgood & Associates, followed by Osgood-McCullough, and finally Insight Communications. He was the president of the local chapter of Big Brothers for four years. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Homewood Cemetery – Star of David Section.
