MELNICK: Shirley Melnick, on Friday, September 16, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Pershing Melnick. Loving mother of Sonny R. (Iris) Melnick of Irwin, Marilynn (Ted) Gething of Clearwater, Fla., Alan (Kristine) Melnick of St. Petersburg, Fla., Marta Melnick of Wilkins Township, Geri Faye Melnick of Monterey, Calif., and Phillip (Tracey) Melnick of State College. Sister of Jeannette Kline and the late Sol, Milton and Leonard Caplan and Bertha Zeligson. Grandmother of Tami and Bethany Melnick, Dean (Katie) Gething, Brad (Antonia) Gething, Drew Gething, Tyler (Laura) Gething, Skylar Melnick, Tanner Melnick and Chloe Melnick. Great-grandmother of Kaylie Melnick, Mia and Grace Lynn Gething.  Also survived by nieces and nephews. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
