HORVITZ: On Saturday, September 4, 2010, Seima Horvitz, 79, of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter of the late David and Esther Horvitz; sister of the late Anita “Nicky” Gordon; sister-in-law of Sanford (Marianne) Gordon; aunt of Annette (Michael) Ayala, Linda (Julian) Gordon, and Nancy (Jeffrey) Gordon and their children, Nealey Barak, Adin and Brooke Goldberg. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment Poale Zedeck Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, 600 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or Beth Israel Synagogue, 265 North Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
