BIRNKRANT: On Wednesday, February 3, 2016, Ruth Torrin Birnkrant. Beloved wife of the late Morris Birnkrant. Loving mother of Ellen (Richard) Kitay. Sister of the late Harry “Pat” Torin, Sarah Robbins, Sam “Shep” Torin and Albert “Zaz” Torin. Devoted grandma of Michelle (Josh) Meyers and Meredith Kitay-Silberman. Great-grandmother of Brett, Jared and Justin Meyers and Adam and Brendan Silberman. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their gratitude to her caregivers, Renee and Ariane. Graveside services and interment were held at Shaare Torah Cemetery.
