Ruth Porter Rosenbloom

ROSENBLOOM: Ruth Porter Rosenbloom; Daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Porter, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on Friday July 18, 2014, at the age of 92.  She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Stanley E. Rosenbloom, loving mother of Barbara Rosenbloom Reisner (Richard), James Rosenbloom (Linda), and Dr. Richard Rosenbloom (Carol).  She was the beloved sister of the late Allen and Irwin Porter.  She is survived by seven grandchildren:  Daniel Reisner (Nancy), Jesse Reisner (Nancy), Molly Reisner (Matt), Kate Rosenbloom, Joseph Rosenbloom, Chad Rosenbloom, and Jenna Rosenbloom, and six great-grandchildren:  Josh, Samantha, Jonah and Charlotte Reisner and Benjamin and Samuel Allen. Ruth is also the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.  She was a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend, and a kind and generous person, known throughout the neighborhood for her candy drawer, which was open to all. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. schugar.com
