Ruth Pittler Gerber

GERBER: On Thursday, May 12, 2016, Ruth Pittler Gerber. Beloved wife of the late Isadore (Izzy) Gerber. Beloved daughter of the late Sadie and Joseph Pittler. Sister of the late Belle and Meir Weiner. Sister-in-law of the late Rose Gerber, Edythe Slotsky, Fannie Tavernise and Rae Gerber. Aunt of Yolanda (Frank) Benaquista and Marion (late William) Pearson. Great-aunt of Diane (David) Seyvert. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to her caregivers Aara Jones, Daja Jones, Renee Bradford and especially Lydia Spencer and the staff at Weinberg Terrace. Ruth was a life member of Hadassah as well as a member of Poale Zedeck and the Poale Zedeck Sisterhood. Graveside services and interment were held at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
