Ruth Haus Croop

CROOP: On Friday, August 30, 2013; Ruth Haus Croop; Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Croop. Loving mother of James (Kathryn T. Van Sciver) Croop, Robert (Ginny Kreitler) Croop, and William Croop. Sister of the late Irwin C. Haus. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Sarah and Benjamin. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.  Godmother to Leah Spungen. Ruth earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from Margaret Morrison College of Carnegie Institute of Technology and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.  She was a social worker for the American Red Cross.  Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Cneseth Israel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
