GREEN: On Sunday, August 21, 2011, Rita Martin; Beloved mother of Cathy and Michael Samuels, Jonathan Green and Deborah King, grandmother of Aliza, Ben, Emma, Rachel and Zachary, and wife of the late Irving M. Green. Rita was a printmaker and painter and long-time member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, and had a number of one-woman shows in the Pittsburgh area. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel Inc. Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Contributions may be made to the Irving and Rita Green Memorial Fund at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, 5738 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 (412-521-8011, ext. 232). www.schugar.com
