HANDMAKER: On Wednesday, May 6, 2009, Rita B. Handmaker, beloved wife of the late Meyer H. Handmaker; loving mother of Harry I. (Christine) Handmaker of Castle Shannon and Penny (David) Abrams of Mount Lebanon; sister of the late Warren and Stanley Goldstein; grandmother of Mindy (Darryl) Dorish, Geoffrey (Amber) Abrams, Brian (Wendy) Lewis and Audra Lewis; great-grandmother of Madeline and Benjamin Dorish and Nicholas Lewis-Manning; special friend of Meyer Melnick. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Sivitz Jewish Hospice, 200 JHF Dr., Pgh., PA 15217.
