Adat Shalom: Thursday, Feb. 21,  bake Hamentashen with Sisterhood, 9 a.m. to noon at Adat Shalom; Saturday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m., Megillah reading, costume parade and treats for adults and kids, family service 7 p.m. and adult Megillah reading with David Haviv; Sunday, Feb. 24, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., annual Purim Carnival.; there is a charge.

Agudath Achim Congregation: Purim Party sponsored by Sisterhood at Laurel Lodge Saturday, Feb. 23, 5:45 p.m. Megillah reading, dinner, dancing and adult beverages. Beth El Congregation of the South Hills: Saturday, Feb. 23, Mincha with Torah reading/Maariv 5:15 p.m.; pasta dinner, wine and cheese, no charge, followed by Megillah reading 6:30 p.m.; Purim carnival, Sunday, Feb. 24, 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; games, prizes, moon bounce, silent and Chinese auctions and an Israeli food fair. Beth Israel Congregation, Washington, Pa: Rabbi David Novitsky will conduct the Megillah reading at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, during religious school.
