SHUFLER: On Friday, May 20, 2011, Phyllis; Age 79, of Squirrel Hill, Beloved wife of 57 years of Leonard Shufler. Beloved mother of Daniel E. Shufler, M.D. of Wilmington, DE, Debra (Brian) Moidel of Mt. Lebanon and Betsy Shufler of Squirrel Hill. Beloved grandmother of Justin and Brandon Moidel. Daughter of the late Israel and Sarah Levine. Sister of the late Joseph and Sidney Levine and Ruth Weinberg. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a graduate of Peabody High School and a secretary for Jewish Family and Children’s Services and was an active member of Tree of Life Sisterhood and Social Action Committee. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment B’nai Israel Cemetery.
