Wife of the late Milton Helfer and the late Aryeh Melnick; mother of Joel (Mary) Helfer of Cheshire, CT and Lynne (Wayne) Palkovitz of Johns Island, SC; sister of Dorothy (the late Nathaniel) Schorin of Pittsburgh and William (Iris) Kaufman of Swampscott, MA; grandmother of Rachel (David) Lipkin, Amy Helfer, Mara (James) Southard and Hannah (Joe) Hosemann; great-grandmother of Jared and Jacob Lipkin; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., Shadyside. Interment followed in Kether Torah Cemetery.
