Paula Ruth Shrut

SHRUT:  Paula Ruth Shrut, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Beloved daughter of the late Benjamin and Florence Shrut, beloved sister of Joel Shrut.  Beloved friend of Judy and Joe Secka. Loving niece of Sarah (Betty) Glick. Loving cousin and devoted friend. Paula was a public school teacher in the Pittsburgh Public School System for 30 years. Paula led an active life. Her passion was spending time with family and friends. She was a bridge life master, hosted holiday dinners and traveled extensively.  She volunteered as an educator at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Services and interment were private.  Contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. schugar.com.
