BERLIN: Pamela M. Berlin; Age 67, passed peacefully on September 7, 2015, of complications of cancer.  Deeply beloved wife of Charles Berlin, MD for 47 years.  Loving mother of Dr. Robin Berlin (Matthew Weill) of Washington, D.C., and  Dr. Kate Berlin (Brian Rabinovitz) of Chapel Hill, N.C.  Grandmother of Jacob, Sonia, Natalie and Ben, whom she cherished.  Daughter of the late Sidney and Anne (Gruskin) Omenke of Detroit; loving sister of Meryl Taback (Sarasota); fond aunt of Laurel Twinney (Boston), Courtney Mirowski (Bradenton), Jeffrey Taback (New York), Daniel Berlin (Pittsburgh) and Amy Berlin (Austin); great-nieces Rebecca and Sara Twinney; and great-nephews Sebastian and Nicholas Berlin, and Mac and Jasper Taback. Pamela, always known as Penny, was a clinical psychologist who was regarded by her many patients as exceptionally insightful, helpful and warmly empathic.  She had a wide range of interests including literature, music, cultural and artistic events, knitting and was a master cook.  She will be deeply missed by her family and her many dear friends. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
