A capacity audience looks on as the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh perform Wednesday, May 16, in the main sanctuary of Rodef Shalom Congregation. The performance was a first for Rodef Shalom, and probably Jewish Pittsburgh, and is part of the biannual “Music for the Spirit” performances put on by the PSO. (Chronicle photos by Lindsay Dill)
