STANGEL: On Friday, September 16, 2011, Mildred; Beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold Stangel and spouse of David Graff. Beloved mother of Edward Stangel of Los Angeles, CA, Sheila Stangel and David (Amy) Stangel of Pittsburgh. Sister of Betty (late Sydney) Robbins of Parsippany, NJ, Shirley (Saul) Pearlstein of Pittsburgh and the late Maurice Linden. Sister-in-law of Marlene Linden. Grandma of Hollie Stangel, Staci Stangel and Lindsey (Pete) Glavach. Great-grandmother of Dylan, Erica and Ryan Fitzgerald. Also survived by nieces and nephews and lovingly cared for by Cynthia Jordan. Mildred’s life was devoted to raising her three children and spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association (Greater Pittsburgh Chapter), 1100 Liberty Avenue Suite.
