Mike Doyle to address J Street gathering on the Future of the Pro‐Israel Movement.
A group of local J Street activists, leaders and supporters will come together to chart the course of the pro‐Israel movement and how it will play out in this election year in Pittsburgh.
The Pittsburgh launch of the national Future of Pro‐Israel campaign will take place Monday, May 14, 7 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center in Squirrel Hill. It is one of 39 such events that will be happening in cities across the country that week. Congressman Mike Doyle is a guest speaker.
The focus of the event will be on building a concrete local strategy for implementing the community vision statement unveiled at J Street’s national conference last month.
The strategy will include voter engagement and issue education. The vision statement was a collaborative effort, drawn from the testimonials of hundreds of pro‐Israel activists from across the country submitted by video, SMS and phone about what it means to be the future of the pro‐Israel movement.
