WEITZ: On Saturday, August 27, 2016, Merle Weitz. Beloved wife of Alan Weitz. Devoted mother of Jonathan (Gail) Weitz, Melissa (Neil) Chonofsky and David (Judith) Weitz. Sister of Florence (late Donald) Rosenthal, Thelma (Art) Finkelstein, Bernie (late Susan) Dickter and Morris (Eleanor) Dickter. Loving grandma of Juliana, Haley and Josh. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Merle worked for the Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition for more than 30 years. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Homewood Cemetery.
