LUBISCH: Merle Berger Lubisch; unveiling on Sunday, September 28, 2014, 12 p.m. at the C’neseth Israel Cemetery Pittsburgh. Beloved mother of Murray, Risa, Nina, and predeceased by her precious daughter, Elaine; including grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Former wife of the late Lawrence Lubisch. Predeceased by her parents, Shlomo and Raizel; and loving grandson, Benjamin. Our mother, who passed on December 5, 2013, at 91, was the youngest of five and the last link to her European born parents and siblings from Brody. She was known throughout her lifetime to be pleasant, and was a beacon of support for her family. She was a member of the close and supportive, larger Berger/Shapiro family.
