GELMAN: Marlene M. Gelman, 71, of Pittsburgh, died peacefully on July 22, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Gelman; beloved mother of Herschel (Amy Abrams) Gelman of Silver Spring, MD and Mischa (Miriam) Gelman of Pittsburgh, PA; sister of Helmut (Janet) Wegner of Garrett Park, MD, Gisela (John) Anderson of Mogul, NV, Margot (Blair) Purcell of La Porte, IN, Adolf Wegner of Black Lick, PA, Hannah Wegner of Elka Park, NY and Marcus (Rita) Wegner of Elka Park, NY; daughter of Gertrud and the late Gerd Wegner; grandmother of Dov and Nathan Gelman; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marlene taught in kindergarten in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years.
