Mark Levin
LEVIN: On Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, Mark Levin, 85, of Pittsburgh; beloved husband of Sandra Levin; loving father of Jeffrey, Steven (Joan), and Jay Levin; cherished grandfather of Isabelle, Sabrina, Alana and Rachel; son of the late Harry and Goldie Levin; brother of the late Diane Levin. Mark was an intellectual property attorney; he passed away after a long battle with cancer. Born in Washington, D.C., Levin grew up in New York City and attended Bronx Science High School. He was a participant in the Naval V-12 program during World War II, and then graduated with honors from Princeton University. He went on to earn his law degree at George Washington University, graduating Order of Coif and Law Review. He spent 46 years with PPG Industries, retiring as co-manager of the Intellectual Property Law Department. After this initial retirement he spent 12 years with the Reed Smith law firm as counsel. Services were held at Temple Emanuel of South Hills; interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery/Temple Emanuel Section.
