WEIZENBAUM: Marilyn (Sherman) Weizenbaum; Age 85 of Pittsburgh and West Palm Beach, Fla., on Sunday, June 21, 2015, peacefully, after a long illness. Beloved wife of Norman B. Weizenbaum; loving mother of Barbara Weizenbaum (Robert Gorby), Nan Weizenbaum (Reza Vali), Jim Lampl and Sharon Webster; cherished grandmother of Rachel, Lindsay, and Emily Gorby, and Adam Webster and the late Lauren Webster; sister of Arthur Sherman; also survived by Little Ben Weizenbaum as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Marilyn was the proprietress of Abigail’s Antiques in the 1970s and 1980s. A passionate liberal, she was outspoken in her support of civil rights, gun control and women’s rights. Marilyn was a vibrant woman who will always be remembered for her compassion, honesty and great sense of humor. The family thanks Marilyn’s excellent caregivers for keeping her smiling.
