Marilyn Marcus

MARCUS: On Thursday, September 19, 2013, Marilyn Marcus; Beloved wife of the late Albert Marcus, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children. Born November 30, 1928 to the late Louis and Jean (Casper) Schwartz. Also predeceased by brother Herbert Schwartz, she is survived by daughters Barbara Marcus of Pittsburgh, Benita Marcus (David Isaacs) of Potomac, MD, and son Jan Marcus of Frederick, MD as well as brother Stuart Schwartz of Tucson, AZ and grandson Matthew Adler of Washington, DC. She is also survived by many friends, as well as nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Marilyn. She loved singing and was a member of the Senior Choir at the Jewish Community Center. Graveside services and interment were held at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on October 13 at the Forward Shady apartments in Squirrel Hill.
