Libby Nee (Roth) Elbaum

ELBAUM: Libby Nee (Roth) Elbaum, Age 96, of Squirrel Hill, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.  She died peacefully of natural causes at Charles Morris Nursing Home.  Born Libby Roth on May 18, 1918, in West Natrona, PA, she married Nathan Elbaum in 1941, who preceded her in death in 1998. Her children, Lenore Elbaum Holt of Pittsburgh and Charles Elbaum of Woodbridge, NJ, also preceded her in death.  Libby supported a wide variety of Jewish organizations, and contributed generously to many of them; she was a devoted volunteer of Hadassah.  She is survived by a sister, Edith Belov, of Pittsburgh, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service was held at Temple Sinai Cemetery in Plum Boro. Professional Services by D’Alessandro Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd., Lawrenceville.
