Family needs met
I thank Abby Wisse Schachter for her timely analysis of the cost of being Jewish (“The high cost of Jewish living,” March 18).
However, I do want to clarify a point made about tuition assistance at Community Day School. While it is true that there are no guarantees regarding amounts of tuition assistance each year, our practice has been to meet a family’s need at similar levels annually.
The United Jewish Federation and Community Day School are committed to helping families invest in quality Jewish education.
