By all means, ‘settle’

“I loved the interview with the irrepressible Tova Weinberg from JNS.org that you printed last week, (“The ‘matchmaker’s touch,’” Jan. 16.) I was especially struck by the fact that she finally had to “settle” on her husband and Shadyside Hospital Vice President of Medical Affairs Dr. Joel Weinberg.

It so reminded me of my own spousal history when I was relentlessly pursued by Amy Steiner. She really wasn’t my type and not that sweet or good looking, but like Tova I eventually decided to settle. After 39 years together with Amy I encourage others to do what Tova and I had to do and just settle.
