Leon S. Brett

BRETT: Leon S. Brett, Age 91, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Johnstown, PA, on March 4, 2014. Beloved husband of Sarah for 66 years; loving father of Dr. Allan (Debbie) Brett, Tybe Brett, and Sandra (Dr. Richard Friedman) Brett; grandfather of Rachel, David, Sonja, Molly, Judy, and Jacob. Leon was a partisan fighter and Holocaust survivor, who loved life and thrived after the war. He was an expert watchmaker, but family was number one. He and Sarah raised a close, loving family who carry on his legacy. Arrangements entrusted to William Slater Ii Funeral Service (412-563-2800). A Funeral service took place on March 7, 2014 in Beth El Congregation. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Leon’s name to the Beth El Congregation, 1900 Cochran Rd., Pgh, PA 15220.
