Lawrence “Larry” Tucker

TUCKER: Lawrence “Larry” Tucker, age 82, of the East End, on Friday, April 14, 2017. Beloved husband for 62 years of Phyllis Tucker; loving father of Alex (Bobbie) Tucker, Caryn (Jim) Simpson, Steven (Gwen) Tucker, and the late Ronald Tucker; brother of Carol Swartz (David Malakoff); brother-in-law of the late David Swartz; grandfather of Nicole Russo, Benjamin and Jacob Tucker, Erika Ross, Samantha, Dusty and Kyle Simpson, Michael, Ronnie and Erin Tucker, Brian Gottesman, and the late Alan Tucker. Also survived by four great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry spent his entire career in the furniture industry and was the owner of “Name Brand Furniture,” for more than 20 years. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and loved playing poker with his buddies and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh sports teams. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
