KANN: On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, Kurt J. Kann. Beloved husband of Patricia Kann. Adoring father of Jan, David, Kathy, Amy and Matthew. Opi of Nora (Michael), Nathan (Hannah), Natalie, Jake, Emily and Madeline. Loving brother of Dr. Jules (Ann) Kann. Loving uncle of Ronald, Maya, Steven, Jeffrey and Linda. Great-uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. Kurt was a Holocaust survivor, a World War II hero, a recipient of five Bronze Stars and Croix de guerre avec palme. He was vice president of Keystone Resources and president of KMC Metals. Kurt was worldly, loving and gentle and will be missed dearly. Graveside services and interment were held at Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.
