COHEN: On Sunday, September 12, 2010, in Durham, NC, Kalman J. (Kal) Cohen, formerly of Pittsburgh; husband of Joan Newman Cohen; father Jon (Amy) of Signal Mountain, TN, Andy (Dawn Kleinman) of Carrboro, NC, and Debbie (Bruce Edwards) of Chapel Hill, NC; brother of Jerry of Chicago, IL; grandfather of Geoffrey, Ethan and Aliza of Signal Mountain, TN, Danielle and Lena of Carrboro, NC; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kal’s life will be held in the auditorium at The Forest at Duke on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Contributions may be made to the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program.
