Jordan Haber and Marissa Katz
HABER/KATZ: Pamela and David Haber of Pittsburgh and Darlene and Wayne Katz of Manhasset Hills, N.Y., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Jordan Marcus Haber and Marissa Heather Katz.
Jordan’s grandparents are Patti and Jack Marcus of Pittsburgh and the late Evelyn and Murray Haber of Cleveland. Marissa’s grandparents are Roslyn Katz and the late David Katz and Roslyn Goldberg and the late Paul Shapiro and Myron Goldberg of New York, N.Y.
Jordan graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in biology and went on to receive a degree in medicine from the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an emergency medicine physician with the company Emergency Medical Associates.
Marissa graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a bachelor’s degree in childhood education and earned a master’s degree in special education from Queens College. She teaches second grade.
A July 2018 wedding in New York City is planned. PJC
