Jo Anne Rubin Chodock

CHODOCK: Jo Anne Rubin Chodock, 70, of Cheswick, passed away Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, at the Communities at Indian Haven. A daughter of Samuel K. and Nathalia “Sissy” Buchman Rubin, she was born Sept. 27, 1945, in Indiana. Mrs. Chodock was a 1963 graduate of Indiana High School and graduated with a degree in art from York Community College. She was employed in the commercial arts industry. Mrs. Chodock was a member of the Beth Israel Synagogue in Indiana. She enjoyed drawing, painting, planning parties and cooking for parties. Mrs. Chodock had many friends who will miss her dearly. She is survived by two children: Danielle Merkle of Tampa, Fla.; Traci Chodock of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Jay Y. Rubin of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents. Service was held at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana. Interment Oakland Cemetery.
