Janis Schloss Newman

NEWMAN: On Saturday, February 25, 2012, Janis Schloss; Beloved wife of the late Frank Saul Newman. Beloved mother of Sharon Newman, Bernarr (Judith) Newman and Marla (Al) Golusin. Grandmother of Frank (Marisa Macias) Newman and Jeremy Newman. Sister of Sally (Alan) Greenwald and the late Ruth (late Lewis) Lever. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Janis lived for eighty-seven years was married for thirty-one years to the love of her life Frank Saul Newman, then widowed for thirty-four years, a breast cancer survivor two times for almost forty years, a strong independent woman, who became Bat Mitzvah at the age of eighty-two, and was a world traveler. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc.Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society P.O.
