GORDON: On Saturday, September 12, 2009, Jack Gordon, 97, beloved husband of the late Sara Steinberg Gordon; loving father of Ruth and Allan Schachter of Pittsburgh and Arnold and Linda Gordon of Chevy Chase, MD; much loved grandfather of Julie (Andrew) Friedman, Marjorie (Brent) Heberlee, Molly (Roger) Stumacher, Emily (David Miller) Gordon and Zachary Gordon; proud great-grandfather of Caleb, Lily and Mia Friedman, Samantha and Lauren Heberlee, Ryan and Sarah Stumacher and Levi and Sari Miller; son of the late Annie and Charles Gordon; brother of the late Milton and Arthur Gordon; cherished friend of loving caregivers Anita Penn, Estelita Bartolabac, Lisa Jones, Candy Cogdell, Carol Travis and Linda Boston as well as nurses of Sivitz Hospice. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery.
