Ivan "Jerry" Gross

GROSS: Ivan “Jerry” Gross, age 81 of Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 27, 2016. Born September 5, 1935, in McKeesport, beloved son of the late Ceil and Ben Gross. Beloved husband of 58 years of Marjorie Conn Gross. Brother of the late Richard Gross; loving father of Susan Wallace (Gerry), Steven Gross (Terrina Woodard) and Andy Gross (Lainie Simon); loving grandfather of Abby Wallace, Aaron Gross, Ben Wallace and Alexa Gross. A longtime resident of Greensburg, he was the owner of Ben Gross Restaurant in Irwin for 50 years. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His shining smile and constant jokes brightened everyone’s day. A University of Pittsburgh alumnus and avid golfer, he was a member of Westmoreland Country Club for 57 years. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment at Temple Emanuel Cemetery in Greensburg. Memorial contributions be made to a charity of donor’s choice. schugar.com.
