Israelis at the ballet

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Julia Erickson, who performed during PBT’s Israel tour this past summer, including the Karmiel Dance Festival, met several Israeli visitors from Karmiel and Misgav last week during the ballet company’s performance of “Giselle.” 

The Israelis, who were in Pittsburgh for a series of planning meetings with Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh officials, are Galit Erner, co-chair of the Youth Kesher, Misgav; Anat Sharvit, partnership director; Lilach Vaxman Rana, co-chair of Youth Kesher, Karmiel; Idit Gal, Holocaust education; Hila Nahoom, Diller Teen Fellows coordinator, Karmiel/Misgav; and Noam Vidan, Misgav Youth Department.
