Irving Leo Simon, age 84, World War II Veteran, resident of Plano, TX, born Youngstown, OH, raised in Pittsburgh, PA, former resident of Highland Park, IL. Devoted father to Susan Holly Schmitt and Nancy Ann, proud grandfather of Sydney and Daniel, father in law of Tom Schmitt, married to Rhoda; he retired as an apparel sales representative in the 90s. An excellent golfer and all round sports-enthusiast, he was fond of telling jokes and confounding people with word puzzles. Memorial service pending.
