Harold “Pat” Singer

SINGER: Harold “Pat” Singer, age 98 of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016.  A native of Denver, Colo., he was the son of Sophie and Max Singer. He is survived by his sister Betty Rudnick and daughters Shelle (Beth) and Debra King (Jack) and grandson Geoffrey King.  He was preceded in death by his wife Rhoda, daughter Sandee and siblings Sam, Doris, Milton, Esther, Frances and Sylvia. A veteran of World War II, Pat enlisted the day after Pearl Harbor and proudly served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Professional Services by D’Alessandro Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd., Lawrenceville.  The family would like to thank the staff of Weinberg Village and the Sivitz Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.  Contributions can be made to Weinberg Village and Sivitz Hospice.
