EDELSTEIN: On Saturday, August 28, 2010, Gladys Epstein Edelstein, beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Edelstein; devoted mother of Allen (Norah) Edelstein of Randolph, NJ and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Weisband of Pittsburgh; sister of the late Dr. Leonard (Jean) Epstein; grandmother of Scott Edelstein and Ryan, Erik and Douglas Weisband. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Internment B’nai Israel Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The Gladys Edelstein Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o United Jewish Federation, 234 McKee Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
FISCHER: On Wednesday, August 25, 2010, Janice Louise Fischer, 57, of Squirrel Hill; beloved daughter of Ruth Fischer and the late Richard Fischer of Squirrel Hill; loving sister of Linda Fischer of Squirrel Hill; niece of Forrest (Dorothy) Fischer of Reston, VA and Esther Krug of Squirrel Hill; cousin of Jackie Fischer and Jennifer Fischer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Rapp Funeral Home.
