Florence Rosenfeld

ROSENFELD: Florence Rosenfeld left us on May 27 to join her husband Paul and her beloved parents Louis and Rose Lefkovitz. The last year of her time here on Earth, she moved from Squirrel Hill to California to spend time with her children and their families. She was able to attend and host many holiday lunches and dinners this past year with the most recent being a Mother’s Day luncheon. We will all cherish this final family get together. She is going to be missed by her daughters and son-in-law, sisters and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Among them Linda and Robert Sweetow, Terry Magnatta, Pearl Cohen, Beatty Golanty, Rachel, Kim, Jason, Dave, Lily, Gentry, Henry, Dean, Marsha, Rich, Gretchen, Gary and Jackie. She loved Pittsburgh, basketball, the Steelers and mah-jongg at the Jewish Community Center. She loved her family. It is said we are all stardust. Look at the night sky and you will see Flo and Paul sparkling from above. A small private memorial service was held in keeping with her wishes. The family requests that any donations made in her name be directed to the JCC.
