Sunday, October 28, 2018, 7pm-8:30pm, Chatham University’s Eddy Theater (Eddy Theater, Woodland Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15232) Magda Brown is from Miskolc, Hungary. In 1944, when she was 17 years old, she was deported on one of the final transports to Auschwitz-Birkenau with her entire family. Tonight, Oct. 29, 5:30pm Tim Stevens and the Black Political Empowerment Project has organized a press conference for half a dozen African American organizations (and a handful of other groups) to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community. A strong CRC turnout at the press conference on behalf of the Jewish community would be a powerful message. Please come if you can.
