DESCRIPTION:title: Squirrel Hill AARP features the New Horizons Band of Greater Pittsburgh \nSq Hill AARP October 17th meeting wil be held at Tree of Life Synagogue\, 5898 Wilkins Ave at 1:00 p.m.   \nFollowing the general meeting\, the musical group\, New Horizons Band of Greater Pgh will perform. There is no more cherished moment that when the group can put a smile on the faces of seniors. The band’s repertoire includes standards\, sing-a-longs\, patriotic\, folk\, swing\, jazz and holiday music.   \nAttendees are asked to bring donations of used eye glasses\, cell phones/chargers\, new travel sized toiletries and caps for men and women who are undergoing cancer treatments. Items will be donated to the VA\, Children’s and Hillman centers and Family House. \nAll are welcome\, refreshments will be served. \nFor more information contact Marcia Kramer\, 412-731-3338. \nTIME OF EVENT\n1:00 \nNO COST \n
