SUMMARY:Operation Finale: The Real Story of the Capture of A Nazi War Criminal
DESCRIPTION:title: Operation Finale: The Real Story of the Capture of A Nazi War Criminal A lecture and special presentation by former Mossad agent Avner Avraham. \nAvraham was instrumental in the creation of the major motion picture Operation Finale. Serving as a senior consultant on the production\, Avraham ensured the movie’s accuracy in portraying the Mossad and their operation to capture Adolf Eichmann\, a Nazi and one of the chief architects of the Holocaust. \nAvraham also curated an Operation Finale exhibit\, which pre-dates the movie\, displaying espionage artifacts and recently declassified Mossad materials. This was the first time the material was seen outside of Isral. \nIn his presentation\, he will talk about his life\, 28 years in Mossad\, the real Operation Finale\, and the new feature film. The program will run about 90 minutes\, and include a question-and-answer session.\nstart-date: 2018-10-16\nstart time: 7:30 pm\nend date: 2018-10-16\nend time:\nall-day event:\nrecurring event: —\nevent address: Duquesne University\nDougherty Ballroom\, Power Center\nevent organizer: Classrooms Without Borders\nevent website:\nevent cost: Free \n
