Instead of taking the day off\, for the fourth consecutive year\, CDS will take on the essential themes of race in America as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. Join us as our day begins with special morning tefillah (prayers) and a concert featuring The Afro-Semitic Experience\, an ethnic world music group merging Jewish and Afro-diasporic melodies and groove to combine the core concepts of àse and shalom―power\, action\, unity\, and peace.
