SUMMARY:Kollel Legacy Circle Event
DESCRIPTION:The Kollel Jewish Learning Center is proud to announce our fourth\nAnnual Legacy Circle Event May 6\, 2018 at 5:00PM. \nThe Sunday evening event\, hosted by Chuck and Judy Perlow and Zev and Leiba Rudolph will take place at the Embassy Suites hotel downtown\, 535 Smithfield Street\, Pittsburgh\, Pennsylvania. \nThis year we are delighted to have Mr. Moishe Bane\, President of the Orthodox Union as our featured speaker. He will speak on “Three Existential Challenges to American Orthodoxy that are Largely Ignored”. \nMoishe Bane is President of the Orthodox Union. In addition\, Mr. Bane is a senior partner and chairman of the Business Restructuring department at the international law firm of Ropes & Gray. \nHe previously served as chairman of the OU’s Institute of Public Affairs\, and before that was national chairman of NCSY. In addition to involvement in an array of kiruv and educational endeavors\, Mr. Bane has written and lectured extensively and is a founding editor of Klal Perspectives\, a journal addressing contemporary public policy issues within the American Orthodox community. \nThrough a shared obligation to the values of community and education\, both central tenets of our rich heritage\, the Kollel provides a wide spectrum of opportunities to explore one’s passions through a Jewish lens with real depth\, authenticity\, and meaning. \n
