KARELITZ: On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, Evan L.; Beloved husband of Kathy (Gualtieri) Karelitz. Beloved father of Barry S. (Jamie) Karelitz and Josh Karelitz. Son of Racille and the late Morton Karelitz. Brother of Cheryl Karelitz and Alan B. (Meryl) Karelitz. Beloved “Pap-pap” of Charlie and Dominic. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Evan was a proud life member of Monroeville Fire Department #6. He was president of Steel City Fins (Pittsburgh Parrot Head Club). He and his wife Kathy were chosen as Monroeville Citizens of the Year for chairing Monroeville’s July 4th parade and fireworks committee. Evan along with his family owned and operated Pet Corral (Pet Store) in Monroeville. Services were held at Temple David. Interment Old Stone Church Cemetery.
