Esther Ruder Landis

LANDIS: Esther Ruder Landis, on Monday, May 2, 2016, age 90 of Forest Hills. Beloved mother of David (Mary) Landis and Larry (Sophia) Landis; grandmother/Meme of Ben, Juliana, Dan, Jessica, Elizabeth and Nate. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Fanny Ruder and her siblings Ceal Karavitz, Morris Ruder, Nate Ruder, Edward Ruder and Sam Ruder. Also survived by her sisters, Pearl Lazarus and Hilda Bell and many nieces and nephews. The family wanted to thank Bayada and Epic Health Services for the round the clock care their nurses provided at Esther’s house after she was discharged from the hospital as well as her primary care physician Dr. Ellis and her oncologist Dr. Hou. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Temple Sinai Memorial Park.
