SCHECHTER: On Sunday, December 26, 2010, Ellis Leonard Schechter, beloved husband of the late Marianne Schechter; beloved father of Carol Johnson of Montepelier, VT, Mark (Maria Simonsson) Schechter of Takoma Park, MD and Linda (Arthur) King of Charlottesville, VA; brother of Sally (late Norman) Gurin; grandfather of Emily, Alyssa, Jared, Leah, Ben and Maia; also survived by his devoted friend Bibe Schlesinger, nieces and nephews.
