SPUNGEN: On Monday, September 27, 2010, Edith Y. Spungen, beloved wife of Edward Spungen; beloved mother of Cliff (Jan) Spungen; sister of Bernard (the late Esther) Elinoff, Saul (Yetta) Elinoff, the late Sam (the late Clarice) Elinoff, Max Elinoff, Rebecca Coleman, Esther Kravitz and Milton Elinoff; sister-in-law of Bernice Elinoff; Bubbie of Leah Cara Spungen; also survived by nieces and nephews. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment New Light Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Beth El Congregation, 1900 Cochran Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or to the Max Elinoff Scholarship Fund at Congregation Beth Shalom, 5915 Beacon Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
